This week's look is based around Primitive Design's new necklace ZRock, which I really like, the gem is even color change. The hair I got recently from Shag called Shine On and looks really hot with this skin. I put with them one of GothiCatz shirts, and League jeans. The shoes are from Styligion and look pretty cool.

Lotd 11/30

Today's look is using the Jordan skin from Unique again, just with the goatee version with a hair-base. I decided to wear Shag's hat hair Boys Dont Cry that I showed from the Hair Fair. I think it looks really good with this skin and really blends well with the hair-base. I added a shirt and sweater combo from :sey. Every time I go there I find tons of new things that I love, I just wish their prices were a bit lower. I really like how the shirt tail comes down below the sweater, this is basically the look I was looking for when I found this item. The necklace is a bit difficult to see, but it is the Pentacle of the Dark Sun, a Silent Hill themed necklace from EarthStones.

Lotd 9/13 Gothic rocker

I built this outfit around the Shag hair Animal Nitrate that I talked about in my Hair Fair Blogpost, and whose hairstyle it resembled. If you think you know who, Id be happy to see your guesses in the comments.










The jacket and layered shirt are from +grasp+ who has some of my favorite leather and jeans. This is one of their original leather jackets, and the collar was the style that I was looking for to match the look, along with the layered black and gray graphic T's.

Hair Fair 2010

This year's hair fair is to benefit Wigs for Kids. The fair will last until 9/19.  I almost didn't go to the hair fair this year, as I usually go with my girlfriend and some friends, but they have been a little fair-ed out lately. I changed my mind, but probably went at one of the worst times possible, Friday evening. It was incredibly laggy, but that is to be expected with almost any fair such as this. I think that the layout could have been much better, and I would recommend using the hair fair's blog to go directly to the store your interested in and not try to walk through all four sims. Now for the hair from the fair that I liked and purchased.

Shag is the only store from the hair fair that I really liked and had not heard of before. I am not usually a big fan of hats in SL. I think this is the first hat I have purchased that was not part of a themed outfit. This is two variants of a hair called Boys dont cry. You do have to have a skin with a hair base to make this hair look good, and it can be difficult to get it to match up in the front and get the color matched close.I also was trying some head alpha layers that I made/bought to try to adjust the hat a little better.  I couldn't get it to work right, though that may be a glitch in Phoenix viewer. The hat and band both have scripted options for the color and pattern.

This hair is another Shag hair that I really like called Animal Nitrate, I can see myself wearing this one quite often.

Unclewebb is an outstanding hair creator and I think I have nearly every one of his male hairs. I am really digging his new hair Jake.

I also liked two of Aitui's new hat hairs. This one is Wake up. For 90L$ they are a really good value, and though it does not look that great with the outfit I have on in this pic, I think it would go really awesome with some grunge outfits.

















This is Aitui's other 90L$ hat hair Back of the Class. I really love its edgy style, and its a great value.



I also wanted to mention that MadDesigns had a really good looking mohawk that I did not purchase. Wasabi also has some really nice hair that I have worn on my elf Avatar.
