RP Avatar: Warlord

It has been too long since Ive done an RP look, so I wanted to do a post about this look, that I have been rocking for a week or so, I call it Warlord. The majority of the outfit is from the Losthaven set called Mountain Barbarian, but I wanted to turn it into a slightly different look.







The weapons, all the clothing (other than a pants layer that I added under the pants they had because I liked the way they looked together) the boots,  and even the right earring are all from the set from Losthaven.
I love the way the mohawk looks with the set so I used MadDesign's Colt mohawk. The necklace is really sweet and I think goes along well and is from Mandala.

Lotd 12/14

It has taken me longer than expected to get this blog post out due to rl car troubles and the release of WoW Cataclysm.

I wanted to do a Camo outfit for a while using this cool Camo cargo jacket from grasp. The tank top is one of my first shirts, but I have searched everywhere and I'm not able to find it anymore in world, but I thought it fit well with the outfit. As I looked for other stuff to go along with the jacket and camo docs, I found lots of cool stuff at Tonktastic. The armbands, the pants, and the gas mask are all from Tonktastic.

Lotd 11/30

Today's look is using the Jordan skin from Unique again, just with the goatee version with a hair-base. I decided to wear Shag's hat hair Boys Dont Cry that I showed from the Hair Fair. I think it looks really good with this skin and really blends well with the hair-base. I added a shirt and sweater combo from :sey. Every time I go there I find tons of new things that I love, I just wish their prices were a bit lower. I really like how the shirt tail comes down below the sweater, this is basically the look I was looking for when I found this item. The necklace is a bit difficult to see, but it is the Pentacle of the Dark Sun, a Silent Hill themed necklace from EarthStones.

Today's look of the day features a new shirt from Klam designs, I like the way it looks in the front and I never need to adjust their rolled up sleeves. The pants are the new damage jeans from Muism.
The tat is one of my favorites from Huz tats called Kanji Legacy.

Lotd 10/15 Outfit on a budget

Today I thought I would do something a little different. I wanted to put together an outfit that is inexpensive, but still stylish.

The entire outfit, other than the skin, can be purchased for 543 L$.  I started with the Adams Jacket from -Myself- for 80L, this is the special price on the Marketplace, but it has been on special for several months at least. The shirt is a Zelda shirt that's exactly like one I was looking at on ThinkGeek and is a steal for 49L. The pants can be bought here, and are one of the best that can be found for under 100L. They come with a belt and shirt for 50L. The boots are well done and texture change, where the top connects with the foot could be a bit better done, but for 40L I am not complaining.

The piercing set is from kOwp, the set is called Loner, and available for 59L. The thunderbirds face tat is my favorite AQ face tat and it is available for 49L. The eyes are Rebirth Mysterious Brown eyes from Ispachi and are a pretty good price for 69L. The most expensive item I have included is the Claude hair from Sadistic Hacker, and can be purchased for 150L from their in world store. Started this outfit with the rolled up sleeves shirt from grasp, going with the autumn weather theme again. I used the Uncleweb hair from the hair fair. Also when I was working on my store list the other day, I went by Muism to verify the in world location. Last time I had been there they mostly had dressy clothes, but when I stopped by the other day I saw these pretty awesome looking damaged jeans. Necklace is from Mandala and rest of the jewelry is from Rozoregalia.

Lotd 9/13 Gothic rocker

I built this outfit around the Shag hair Animal Nitrate that I talked about in my Hair Fair Blogpost, and whose hairstyle it resembled. If you think you know who, Id be happy to see your guesses in the comments.










The jacket and layered shirt are from +grasp+ who has some of my favorite leather and jeans. This is one of their original leather jackets, and the collar was the style that I was looking for to match the look, along with the layered black and gray graphic T's.

Lotd 9/7 Project Donate

Project Donate was conceived by Truth Hawks as way for SL to help make a difference in the lives of people in need. The first event will be to raise money for the UNICEF Pakistan Flood Crisis Fund.

 





Both the skin Ispachi Trey Pale/Shaved and the Docs black boots are available for purchase at Project Donate to raise money for UNICEF and to help recover from the the floods and the devastation this has caused to the people living in Pakistan.








The top shirt is in a outfit pack that has the shirt, pants, and even neckace and piercings. I also wanted to mention how much I really love Mandala. Their jewelry is really well done and versatile, and their belts are so well done, they fit perfectly. Usually I have to mess with belts, resizing and adjusting, but Mandala's belts I have never had to do that.

Connors and Rozoregalia Photo Contest

And now, for my first actual post. I am going to use a picture that I used for the Connors and Rozoregalia photo contest earlier this month. 

I had bought Rozoregalia just about out of stock, and so when I saw that they had a photo contest along with a very cool store Connors, I couldn't resist entering. I really liked the new Connors half denim jeans that I saw in In Cold Blood's blog post Man Shoes and thought the layered tank and the Azuki jacket would go well with them. I added 5 pieces of Rozoregalia items, which unfortunatley are a little difficult to see in the picture. I finished the outfit off with the new Ispachi hair that was featured in Fade to Grey's blogpost Shiny New Things. One thing I will mention that I really like about the hair is that it is texture change for the different colors in the pack which you don't often see. I also had to wear the Ispachi skin Trey that I thought looked really good on me.
